Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she took flute lessons as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. She managed to make it with the stipend she received from her students while working part time jobs. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability in comparison to her fellow students and she pondered what alternative route she could take. Lennox began her career as musician with the group Dragons Playground. She quit the band prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. The main part of her role was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. It was during this time that she came across Dave Stewart with whom she will form Pop duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox started working on her first solo album Diva and it was released in the year 1992. It received lots of praise from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. She released her first solo album along with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is a Scottish political activist and singer. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to become famous internationally in the 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox launched a solo career with the release of her first album Diva with a variety of successful tracks, including Why and Walking on Broken Glass.
