Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only daughter of Richard McCormick. Her parents were her mother, who was a housewife and a father who taught. Michael Dennis Kevin, her twin brothers. McCormick was a gifted entertainer and singer at an early age. Her passion was to put on shows with puppets to entertain her friends. She was crowned her first contest, the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was then contacted via Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she be interested to be a part of the show business. McCormick's first big job was during 1964, when she appeared in a commercial on TV for Mattels baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. McCormick also starred in a commercial in 1964, for Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was cast as the main character in Wind It up and It is Broken, a show in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was among 1200 other children for the part of the oldest towheaded girl in The Brady Bunch. The sitcom featured Florence Henderson and Robert Reed newlyweds, who shared an unmarried family. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick stated in her 2008 memoir Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice she almost ended her relationship in the fifth season with Barry Williams, her co-star and on-screen brother. She was 16 years old when the incident occurred while he was. She said that it would have been feasible, but we didn't have the proper time to do it.
