Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child daughter of Richard McCormick. Her father taught at school, while her mother was a housewife. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. McCormick was a gifted singer and performer from an early age. She perform shows using puppets to entertain her friends. McCormick was offered her first major role when she got a part in the commercial for television that was broadcast in 1964 of Mattels new baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. The year that followed, she appeared in a second commercial on television for Chatty-Cathy's doll. Soon afterward, McCormick was chosen by La Jolla Playhouse to play the role of the character Wind It up before It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was among 1200 other children to play the eldest daughter to be a part of The Brady Bunch. The sitcom starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed who were newlyweds with an unmarried family. The five-year run of The Brady Bunch was an enormous success. McCormick disclosed in Heres the Story.
