Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry is an American model, actress and beauty pageant contestant who was awarded the title 'Miss America' in 1996. After watching the 1970 film "Love Story" her mother gave her the name Ali after Ali MacGraw. Her birthplace was Cecilia and attended Cecilia High School. In high school she was a cheerleader on the squad and won the title of Miss Louisiana Teen USA. She was just 17 year old. Then she won the 1996 'Miss Louisiana USA' title and made her debut in the limelight following winning the title of Miss USA. Her debut was on the TV show 'Clueless. In 1998, she racked up recognition by playing the "Doritos Girl" for her role in the Super Bowl commercial for 'Doritos. She made her debut as actor in the 2000 movie Beautiful. In the ensuing years she was a part of several films and TV series. Her name is featured on numerous lists of the most-wanted women.
